We are hiring 2 Summer Students from May 2021- September 2021

Pending funding from Canada Summer jobs we are planning on hiring 2 students for 30 hours per week for 21 weeks starting mid May.  The ideal candidate will be part way through or will have completed their post secondary education with a focus on ecology, amphibians, wetlands and GIS mapping.  We are looking for people who can work independently, are competent in the field, physically fit and able to communicate well.  Someone familiar with the ecosystem of the Comox Valley and the Tsolum River is preferred.  A more complete job description will be available here soon.  If interested, please send your cover letter and resume to tsolumriver@shaw.ca.
